Toyota Environmental Activities Grant Program 2011

Toyota Motor Corporation’s (TMC) Toyota Environmental Activities Grant Program 2011 is inviting applications to support environmental revival and conservation activities both in Japan and overseas for the purpose of sustainable development. The current year themes for program are Biodiversity Conservation and Global Warming.

TMC offers support for projects committed to capacity building for the next-generation for environmental conservation, and to seeking solutions of environmental issues by NPOs and other non-profit private groups.

Categories for Grants:

Overseas Project Grants:
Support will be provided to activities implemented in overseas, conducted by group based in Japan or conducted jointly, collaboration between Japan and foreign group.

Domestic Project Grants:
Support will be provided to community-based activities for the protection of environment. Project implementation sites are limited to Japan only.

Eligibility:
  • Private nonprofit institutions/organizations are eligible for the grant.
  • NPOs (Non-profit organizations), NGOs (Non-governmental organizations), charitable organizations and officially unregistered voluntary organizations or groups are also encouraged to apply
Grant Budget /Project Period/ Project Implementation site(s) for the year 011

Overseas Project Grants:
The limit of the grant amount per project is seven million yen.
Up to two years (starting from January 2012)
Projects should be implemented in Overseas.

Domestic Project Grants:
The limit of the grant amount per project is three million yen.
Up to two years (starting from January 2012)
Projects should be implemented in Japan only.
Application Deadline:  June 15, 2011
