6th Dubrovnik Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems 2011


The Dubrovnik Conference usually has around 50% of presented papers published in one of the special issues ofleading international archival scientific journals, like "Energy - The International Journal", "Applied Energy", "Journal of Water Resource Management", "Thermal Science" and "Management of Environmental Quality". The past publications resulting from the Conferences can be found on: http://www.sdewes.org/journals.php.


If you want to have your paper taken into consideration for publication in one of the special issues, you should submit an abstract (choose archival type) by January 15, 2011.

The Dubrovnik Conference is the biannual event devoted to the gathering of scientists, engineers, policy makers, students and other interested parties in the field of sustainable development. The first five Dubrovnik Conferences on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES) were successfully held in Dubrovnik, organized by the University of Zagreb and Instituto Superior Tecnico - Lisbon and under the patronage of UNESCO - Paris, European Commission, DG RTD, FP INCO Programme - Brussels and other partner institutions, organisations and networks.

We are pleased to invite you to the 6th Dubrovnik Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems which is going to be held in Dubrovnik - Croatia from September 25 - 29, 2011. Authors willing to present a paper should submit an abstract in English, up to one page, using web form:

These abstracts will then be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee. The full paper will be peer-reviewed. The full papers will be directly submitted via electronic submission system.
