International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP)
ICAP brings together regional, national and sub-national governments and public authorities to discuss important issues in the design of emissions trading schemes (ETS) and the way forward to a global carbon market. Through knowledge and experience sharing, ICAP helps policy makers recognize design compatibility issues and opportunities at an early stage. It thereby facilitates possible future linking of trading programs. Founded in 2007, ICAP now has 30 members and 4 observers from Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.  For more information on the status of cap-and-trade worldwide, visit the ICAP Interactive ETS Map.
