SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: CLIMATE CHANGE SUMMER FIELD COURSE IN MONTANA!
Apply for funding to bike tour across Montana this summer and earn academic credit along the way! The Wild Rockies Field Institute offers field-based, academic courses to students through the University of Montana. WRFI's 6-credit summer course, "Cycle the Rockies: Energy and Climate Change in Montana" takes students bike touring from eastern Montana to Glacier National Park to learn about energy production and how climate change is effecting Montana's people and landscapes. WRFI's new scholarship opportunity offers students significant funding ($1,000-$3,000) to participate on the course and then utilize the experience to create a media project: "The media project should convey important course experiences, concepts and outcomes to a general audience. The project may include videography, photography, other visual arts, written work, or a combination of these modes." DEADLINE: April 30th
